China's rise to become the world's second-largest economy is a major outcome of its 40-year reform and opening-up policy, Mongolia's ambassador to China, Gankhuyag Damba, said in a recent interview with China Daily.
The diplomat said that behind reform and opening-up is China's stronger economic capability and its strength in advancing major projects that benefit the public.
He said that China's economic structure is constantly being perfected and improvements in the public's livelihood in recent years have been remarkable. China ensures high quality development, and 60 million people have bid farewell to poverty, he said.
