A video of a boy following a guard on Tian'anmen Square in Beijing to salute him tugged at the heartstrings of netizens recently. It showed the on-duty soldier returning the gesture, before taking a few steps toward the admirer. Towering over the boy, he extends his arm to shake hands. The video was posted on Kuaishou, a livestreaming platform. The clip has been shared more than 10,000 times on Sina Weibo since it was uploaded on Tuesday.
