Forum to open doors for business

The upcoming Belt and Road Trade and Investment Forum is expected to create huge opportunities for global companies, in "sharp contrast" to the unilateral and protectionist practices of the US, the event organizer said.

The forum, under the theme "Unleashing Potential for Shared Future", will be held in Beijing on April 12, and will be jointly hosted by Chinese and international trade and commerce groups.

The event comes at a time when the world is shrouded in the shadow of trade and investment protectionism, initiated by the United States.
