Autism awareness event at Beijing university

The 11th World Autism Awareness Day falls on Monday, and to mark the occasion, a charity show by a group of performers suffering from autism will be staged on Sunday at Beijing's Capital Normal University. The show is being jointly held by the China Social Welfare Foundation and the Beijing Association for Rehabilitation of Autistic Children. A range of performances will be given by the group in the afternoon, presenting their positive attitude toward life. Afterward, a panel of experts will hold a discussion to explore new ways to help families affected by autism in China.
