Ties with W. Africa unaltered by 'noise'

Unjustified criticism won't deter China and Africa from advancing their relations, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang said on Friday.

"Outside noise will not shake the solidarity and cooperation between China and Africa," Lu said.

Lu spoke at a news conference in response to foreign media reports saying that China was extending its influence in Africa by providing financial help.
