Xi Jinping, Kim Jong-un hold talks

Visit comes at special time, is of great significance, president says

At the invitation of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Chinese president, Kim Jongun, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made an unofficial visit to China from Sunday to Wednesday.

Xi held talks with Kim at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Xi and his wife, Peng Liyuan, held a welcoming banquet for Kim and his wife, Ri Sol-ju, and they watched an art performance together.
