World toilet conference set to be held in Shaanxi
The World Toilet Work Conference will be held in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, on Friday under the theme of "Toilet Revolution of Construction and Management". It is supported by the World Toilet Organization and the China Association of Urban Environmental Sanitation. In 2015, the China National Tourism Administration began a three-year project to build 33,000 extra toilets and upgrade 24,000 existing restrooms in scenic areas nationwide to provide clean, free and well-managed public facilities.
