Agencies urged to do good job with CPPCC proposals

China's top political advisory body has urged government departments to improve how they handle proposals, a senior official said on Tuesday.

Zhang Qingli, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, said government units should follow the guidance from President Xi Jinping in order to handle this year's proposals successfully.

"Quality is vital in handling proposals," Zhang said. "It is important not only to improve the quality of proposals, but also to increase the quality of handling proposals."
