Policy support soon for new energy vehicles
China will release more supportive policies this year to promote the development of new energy vehicles to help protect the environment and drive growth. China will support the purchase of NEVs by local governments and continue to waive purchase taxes for NEVs during the 2018-20 period to encourage green transportation, the Economic Information Daily reported. Banking authorities also announced new loan policies to allow buyers of NEVs to borrow a larger portion of the purchase price.
