People: 90-year-old runner keeps world record in mind

Su Pengxue of Beijing turned 90 last year. He had always been an active sportsman in his younger years. Having no intention of giving up this lifestyle in later life, he decided to participate in the World Master Games, an international multisport competition. In 2016, he and his team set a world record in the 4x400-meter relay in the 85-year-old group in the Games in Australia. Su's teammates are Sun Guiben (born in 1928), Wang Zhiyong (born in 1924) and Wang Jinbiao (born in 1931). Su said he wants to set a world record for the high jump when he turns 100. "If you don't have a goal, you're old. As long as I'm running, I'm still young," Su said.
