People: Model, 71, shines on Taobao with a sense of style

An ambitious 71-year-old former actor, with boundless energy, has become a role model. Yang Guang began commuting from Shanghai to Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, in August 2015 when she launched her modeling career on Taobao after retirement. Yang, who starts her journey at 6:30 am, puts on more than 100 items of clothing every day and poses for photos to advertise these clothes for senior women until 7 pm. She said she enjoys the process and feels young, happy and energetic every day, even though she sometimes feels tired and is bothered by ailments such as hypertension. Yang had a career in entertainment before she became a model. She acted in movies and television dramas and posed in hundreds of advertisements with many famous singers. "It is never too late to realize your dream and time can give you everything you want," Yang said.
