Capital gets 297 million visits in 2017

Tourists from home and abroad visited Beijing 297 million times in 2017, up 4.3 percent compared with the previous year, city tourism authorities said on Wednesday. Tourism revenue during the year reached 546.9 billion yuan ($86.4 billion), up 8.9 percent year-on-year. Beijing aims to increase tourism revenue by 7 percent this year.
