Crude oil demand weakening in nation

China will continue to be the main driving force for the growth of global oil demand, according to Fatih Birol, executive director of the International Energy Agency. He made the comments at an address to the CERAWeek, which started on Monday in Houston. Birol added that, India followed China in terms of growth in the demand for oil, and together the demand from these two countries accounted for about half of the growth in global demand. Fatih said that China's oil demand has showed some weakening recently, partly due to saturation and also because of new policies aimed at reducing pollution.
