Park says cold snap killed fish

A sudden drop in temperature has been blamed for the death of more than 500 kilograms of fish at a park in Laibin. Most of the fish were tilapia, which are best suited to a temperature of 15 to 37 C, according to park employees on Feb 22. But the mercury fell below 10 C during the Spring Festival holiday, causing the fish to perish, they said.
