Sexual content sparks probes

A total of 29 livestreaming platforms have been investigated and sanctioned for distributing pornography as of the end of last year, China's anti-pornography office said on Wednesday. During a national campaign, operators of livestreaming platforms were found to have profited from sexual content online, the National Office Against Pornographic and Illegal Publications said. Some of the suspects may face criminal charges.
