China-ASEAN meetings set

China and member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations will hold the 23rd meeting of the Joint Working Group on the Implementation of the Declaration on the Conduct of the Parties in the South China Sea from Thursday to Friday in Vietnam. Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang told a regular press briefing on Wednesday that during the meeting, the parties will exchange views on implementing the DOC and consult on the code of conduct. Currently the situation in the sea remains stable, with improving momentum, Lu said.
