Mercedes-Benz promotes Zhang Yan to VP

Zhang Yan (pictured), former director of sales management at Beijing Mercedes-Benz Sales Service Co Ltd, was appointed the company's new senior executive vice-president. Nicholas Speeks, president and CEO of the group, said Zhang will bring in his marketing insights and management skills to his new position to further promote the brand in China. As an experienced sales specialist, Zhang served Beijing Benz Automotive Co Ltd, Volvo Cars (China) Investment Co Ltd, and Changan Ford Automobile Corp Ltd prior to his joining Mercedes-Benz sales.

Paul Smyth to lead Ferrari in China market
