Beijing to host key economic forum on upgrading

The annual meeting of the Chinese Economists 50 Forum, a major think tank in Beijing, will be held in the capital on Sunday to discuss economic transformation and industrial upgrading. Fan Gang, vice-president of the China Society of Economic Reform, will give a keynote speech during the event. Yi Gang, vice-governor of the People's Bank of China, Wang Yiming, vice-president of the State Council Development Research Center, and Bai Chongen, deputy executive dean of the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University, will also attend the forum.
