Vanke names Zhu Jiusheng as president, CEO

Real estate company China Vanke Co Ltd last week appointed finance veteran Zhu Jiusheng as president and CEO. Zhu joined Vanke in 2012 as a vice-president and became chairman of Vanke Financial in 2014. Zhu's predecessor, former president and CEO Yu Liang, said Zhu's deep understanding of business and boldness in leadership will be valuable to Vanke. Yu has been leading Vanke since last June and had multiple roles. He said he had been thinking over the past half-year about relinquishing some roles and focusing on the company's business strategy and building corporate partnership.
