Details of rural revitalization strategy to be released

The State Council Information Office will hold a media briefing in Beijing on Monday to release details about the implementation of the strategy to revitalize the country's vast countryside. According to the strategy, decisive progress in modernizing agriculture and rural areas should be achieved by 2035. By 2050, the goal is to have a strong agricultural sector, beautiful countryside and well-off farmers. Han Jun, director of the Office of the Central Rural Work Leading Group, will attend Monday's briefing.
