1 dead, 5 missing after ship capsizes

One person has died and another five remain missing after a cargo vessel capsized on Thursday in the Yangtze River in Qichun county, Hubei province, a county publicity official said on Friday. Nine people fell into the water on Thursday evening. One was pulled out of the water at around 1:10 am, and later died after medical efforts failed. Three others were rescued and are in stable condition.
