Railway police melt snow to drink, wash

Three railway police officers became online celebrities after they boiled snow to make drinking water in mountainous Jinzai county. The local water supply was cut off after pipelines froze this month. A video showed the officers boiling snow for drinking and cleaning in their kitchen after shoveling it into barrels. The officers are in charge of the safety operation of 30 kilometers of track along the Hefei-Wuhan line.
