Warm bond with Kenya praised

Wang Xiaohui, executive vice-minister of the publicity department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, has spoken warmly of growing relations between China and Kenya.

He made the comments when he visited Kenya's parliament in Nairobi on Thursday.

"The relationship has witnessed several achievements and this was witnessed by President Uhuru Kenyatta's visit to Beijing for the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation last year, where he and President Xi Jinping agreed to elevate the relationship to a comprehensive partnership of cooperation," Wang said.
