Standing Committee to look at revisions of Constitution

The 12th National People's Congress Standing Committee, the country's top legislature, will convene on Monday and Tuesday in Beijing to discuss revisions of the Constitution. Legislators will discuss a proposal by the Communist Party of China Central Committee to revise the Constitution, review the draft of the revision and consider a motion to hold the first session of the 13th NPC. The session will also review a number of official appointments and dismissals.
