Ministry to highlight progress against pollution

The Ministry of Environmental Protection will hold a media briefing on Tuesday in Beijing to introduce the latest progress in the nationwide campaign to prevent and control air pollution, and the plan for the next phase. China has launched comprehensive measures to reduce polluting emissions, including restricting industrial production by shutting down plants, limiting the use of vehicles and reducing coal consumption.
