PBOC official named vice-mayor

Yin Yong, vice-governor of the People's Bank of China, was appointed vice-mayor of Beijing on Friday at a session of the Standing Committee of the Beijing People's Congress. Yin has worked at the State Administration of Foreign Exchange and China Investment Corp since receiving his master's degree from Harvard University and doctoral degree from Tsinghua University. The city's municipal government now consists of acting Mayor Chen Jining and nine vice-mayors.
