Leading US diplomat to visit Beijing to discuss key issues
Acting US Assistant Secretary of State Susan Thornton will arrive in Beijing on Sunday to meet with Chinese government officials to discuss issues of bilateral and regional importance to the United States and China, according to the US Department of State. Beijing is the third leg in a 10-day schedule taking in Vancouver, Ulaanbaatar and Jakarta.
