NBS to release key economic figures for last year
The National Bureau of Statistics will brief the media in Beijing on Thursday on last year's economic performance. A series of economic indicators, including GDP, industrial output and fixed asset investment, will be released. The World Bank last month raised its estimate for China's economic growth in 2017 to 6.8 percent, citing stronger personal consumption and foreign trade.
