Plenary session to review draft amendments

The Second Plenary Session of the 19th Communist Party of China Central Committee will be held on Thursday and Friday. Draft amendments to the Constitution will be reviewed at the key meeting. The amendments must focus on certain areas rather than an overhaul to ensure the Constitution's continuity, stability and authority, according to a statement released after the Political Bureau's meeting last week.
