Taiping Insurance names Wang Sidong GM

China Taiping Insurance Group Ltd, the country's first insurance group to start overseas operations, has appointed Wang Sidong (pictured), former deputy manager of China Life Insurance (Group) Co, as its new general manager and vice-chairman, in place of Li Jinfu, who was dismissed. Wang has over 10 years of experience in insurance. At China Life Insurance, he was in charge of investment management and information technology.
