Ex-professor removed from scholar program

Chen Xiaowu, the former professor involved in a sexual harassment scandal at Beijing's Beihang University, has been removed from the Chang Jiang Scholars program, thepaper.cn has reported. The program is a renowned academic award issued by the Ministry of Education to an individual in higher education. Allowances to Chen, who worked at Beihang's College of Computer Science and Engineering, have been suspended and he has been asked to repay earlier allowances.
