Two climate change reports to be released on Monday

The China Meteorological Administration will release reports on the effects of climate change last year and greenhouse gas emissions in 2016 at a media briefing in Beijing on Monday. Last year, China implemented a series of measures to mitigate the effects of climate change on the country. Most recently, the world's largest carbon trading system was launched in December, sending a strong signal that it plans to use the market as a key policy tool to curb emissions and meet its Paris Agreement commitments.
