People: Student, 19, named Jiangsu's Great Craftsman

Song Biao, a 19-year-old student at the Changzhou Technical Institute in Jiangsu province was awarded the title of Jiangsu's Great Craftsman as well as a Deputy High Professional of Skills last week. He took part in the WorldSkills Competition in October, winning a gold medal in the industrial mechanic millwright (a person who can assemble or dismantle equipment) section as well as the Albert Vidal Award (named after the founder of the WorldSkills Competition). Changzhou Technical Institute has offered him an opportunity to study in Germany.
