Youth can apply to enlist in the PLA

The annual conscription session for the People's Liberation Army started on Wednesday, with male applicants able to register on the Defense Ministry's Conscription Office website. Young men who want to enlist in the PLA and Armed Police Force can enter their information at gfbzb.gov.cn before Aug 5. The application procedure for female applicants will be opened soon, PLA Daily reported, adding that university students and graduates will be given priority.
