Dongfeng Renault launches Koleos

Dongfeng Renault announced the launch of its 2018 Koleos, along with technology upgrades, in a cinema in Beijing on Friday, as the exclusive automobile partner of Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi in China. The 2018 Koleos is enhanced with the latest Advanced Driver Assistant System, which claims to be very close to autonomous driving. Together with lane departure warning, front collision warning, and automated parking, the 2018 Koleos demonstrates its high level of artificial intelligence. Yet, it is offered at the same suggested price range as the earlier model, starting from 179,800 yuan ($27,732). "Dongfeng Renault Koleos has proved itself one of the segment leaders," said Laurent Diot, vice-director of sales and marketing at Dongfeng Renault. A total of 46,455 Koleos were delivered last year, contributing 64 percent to Dongfeng Renault's total sales of locally produced cars.
