Vice-governor put under investigation
Feng Xinzhu, vice-governor of Shaanxi province, is under investigation for severe disciplinary violations, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, the top anti-graft watchdog, said on Wednesday. Feng, born in 1960, is the first "tiger" to come under scrutiny in the new year. The CCDI has been ousting corrupt officials, from low-level "flies" to high-ranking "tigers", since late 2012.
