NBS to release food-price changes in 50 cities

The National Bureau of Statistics will release prices for food and raw materials for the past 10 days in 50 major cities on Thursday. Prices in those categories are a major component of the consumer price index, a primary gauge of inflation. China's CPI grew 1.7 percent year-on-year in November, slowing slightly from October's 1.9 percent, the agency said.
