Environmental body to highlight Beijing air quality
The Beijing Environmental Protection Bureau will hold a media briefing on Wednesday to discuss air quality over the last five years. Beijing residents, used to seeing smoggy winter days, have seen increasing blue skies this winter with average PM2.5 concentration counts cut by 54 percent to 46 micrograms per cubic meter in November, according to data released by the Ministry of Environmental Protection last month.
