City gets new deputy Party chief
Zhang Guoqing, former mayor of Chongqing municipality, has been transferred to Tianjin as the city's deputy Party chief, according to Tianjin Daily. The 54-year-old worked for almost 26 years in the weapons industry before he was transferred to Chongqing as deputy Party chief in 2013. He was then promoted to mayor of Chongqing in 2017.
