Finance Ministry to hold annual work conference

The annual work conference of the Ministry of Finance will be held in Beijing on Wednesday and Thursday to conclude the work for this year and set the tone for 2018. The annual Central Economic Work Conference, which concluded on Wednesday, reiterated plans to strengthen management of local government debt, as one of the key measures to tackle fiscal and financial risks, and to ensure high-quality economic development that was set by the conference as the major theme of next year's policies.
