Top police body initiates swoop

The Ministry of Public Security, China's top police authority, has launched Operation Chunlei against intellectual property crimes. The two-month special campaign will focus on a number of major sectors, including cosmetics, clothes and auto parts, during the New Year and Spring Festival holidays. Ministry officials said they will destroy criminal networks by seeking the sources.
