China entrepreneur confidence grows
Chinese entrepreneurs' confidence on overall economy hit a record-high since 2014 in the fourth quarter, shown by an index of 71.8 percent, up from 68.7 in the July-to-September period, a survey from the People's Bank of China, the central bank, showed on Tuesday. Indices to show their expectations on economic expansion and companies' profitability also increased to the four-year high, as the products' prices rose and domestic orders have boosted, said the survey. A separate survey showed that Chinese bankers believed that operational status of the banking sector has reached the best level since the second quarter of 2015, along with the increase of profit, according to the PBOC.
