Freeski and snowboard World Cup events set
Genting Resort Secret Garden in Zhangjiakou, Hebei province, Beijing's co-host for the 2022 Winter Olympics, will host the second leg of the FIS Freeski and Snowboard Halfpipe World Cup series from Tuesday to Friday. The event doubles as a qualifier for February's PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea. About 80 world-class athletes from 20 countries will compete in the hair-raising event in which skiers and snowboarders perform spectacular aerial tricks.
