Police bust fake accident scam

Police have detained three people accused of using paper boxes to fake accidents and demand compensation in Luzhou on Nov 22. The scam was exposed by undercover police officers, who used their mobile phones to take videos and photos over several months. Police established a task force when pedestrians reported being asked to pay compensation after piles of boxes suddenly toppled over when they passed by.
