Nonstop flight will link Brisbane

The first nonstop flight connecting China with Brisbane, Australia, home of the Great Barrier Reef, will depart from Beijing early on Monday. Air China, China's flagship carrier, has the route. Four flights will go each week. Brisbane will become Air China's third destination in Australia, after Sydney and Melbourne. The carrier now handles more than 40 weekly passenger flights between the two countries. In 2016, the two-way flow of tourists was 2 million trips.
