Maglev train technology forum to meet in Hunan
A forum on maglev technology will be held in Zhangjiajie, Hunan province, on Friday. The meeting will pave way for the International Maglev Conference, which will be held in the province's capital city Changsha in 2020. China plans to develop maglev trains with speeds of 600 kilometers per hour over the next three years, according to a three-year action plan to upgrade manufacturing sectors released by the National Development and Reform Commission.
