Call for deeper cooperation to build cyber community with a shared future
THE FOURTH WORLD INTERNET CONFERENCE concluded on Tuesday in Wuzhen, East China's Zhejiang province. President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the conference, in which he urged the international community to make concerted efforts to enhance cyberspace governance, showing the great significance China attaches to the issue. Beijing Youth Daily commented on Wednesday:
The development of the digital economy has become an irreversible trend, and in his letter, Xi said the development of China's digital economy is now in the fast lane, and he hopes more countries will be able to take a ride on its rapid development.
He expressed his hopes that there will be deeper exchanges and cooperation on the development of the digital economy and the internet so they can better serve to improve people's well-being worldwide.
