2 in court over plot to kill May

Two men will appear in a London court to face terror charges on Wednesday after reportedly plotting to assassinate British Prime Minister Theresa May. Police and security services believe the plotters planned to detonate an explosive device at Downing Street - where the leader lives - and then stab May with knives in the ensuing chaos, Sky said. Such is the seriousness of the plot that the director general of MI5, Britain's domestic security agency, briefed cabinet ministers on the plot, Sky said.
