Mother reunited with runaway son

Guangzhou police and volunteers helped reunite a man, who lived on the streets for 14 years, with his mother on Nov 21. Li Jiajian left home in 2003 when he was 11 years old after quarreling with his mother, surnamed Guo. Li returned home some time later only to find Guo had moved. Li thought Guo had abandoned him and made a living collecting waste. Guo looked for Li many times after he left and once sought police help.
