Suspected thieves publicly shamed
Residents of Lingshan county stripped two alleged car thieves to the waist and forced them to kneel in public before beating and pouring cold water over them on Nov 20. The pair, both surnamed Hou, were said to be drug addicts who had stolen a car in the county's Ganyuan Road in the afternoon.
